Early Season Struggles of Jason Heyward
Oh our beloved Jason Heyward. J-Hey has started his 2013 campaign on a 2-24 slump and is 0 for his last 17, but that should not matter because we're only 7 games into the new season. But at the same time, it is difficult to ignore Heyward's early season struggles. It seems like he's pressing just a little bit, but knowing how great Heyward's work ethic is, he'll make the necessary adjustments to ensure his slump does not continue. Again, it is early in the season and statistics at this point in the season are basically useless. Unfortunately, J-Hey will not be in the lineup tonight to snap out of his cold streak. Marlins send Wade LeBlanc to the mound, a left-handed pitcher. Reed Johnson will make the start in right field tonight and bat 8th.
