Preview:
Tim Hudson will have to wait another day to snap his 10-start winless streak. Originally scheduled to start Friday's series opener opposite Cliff Lee, Hudson has been bumped back to Saturday while lefty Paul Maholm moves up to get the start. Maholm, who was originally set to oppose Kyle Kendrick on Saturday night, picked up his ninth win of the season after allowing just two runs on eight hits, walk two batters, and struck out three in 6 2/3 innings against the Diamondbacks. The lefty has gone 5-2 with a 4.66 ERA in 10 career starts against the Phillies, including tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings on April 3.
As for Phillies starter Cliff Lee, the southpaw has been dominant all season long, including throwing a two-hitter against the Braves on April 4. He has turned in 11 consecutive quality starts dating back to May 6, while pitching at least seven innings in each of those starts. During that span, Lee is 7-0 with a 2.16 ERA which improved his season totals to 9-2 with a 2.49 ERA.

Terdoslavich's MLB debut:
Braves prospect Joey Terdoslavich, who's Atlanta's 14th-ranked prospect according to MLB.com, was called for the first time after Jordan Schafer was put on the 15-day disabled list with right ankle contusion. In his first Major League at-bat in last night's 4-3 loss to the Marlins, Terdoslavich struck out on a 2-2 count while pinch-hitting for Jordan Walden in the 8th inning.

Ben Revere finally finding his stride as a Phillie:
After a slow start to the season, Phillies CF Ben Revere has settled into a groove at the plate over the last couple of months. Since May 1, Revere is batting .333 (63-for-189) over 57 games as well as 15 stolen bases and 23 runs scored. Revere hit just .200 in April with five stolen bases and only one extra-base hit.

Side note:
Brandon Beachy traveled with the Braves to Philadelphia this weekend, setting the earliest time for him to begin his rehab assignment back to late next week. Beachy will throw at least one more bullpen session before going out on rehab.
Braves took two of three in the opening series of the season at Turner Field. Cliff Lee received the only win of the series after pitching eight spectacular innings of shutout ball while only allowing two hits and striking out eight.
